Great Americans

OK I was going to do this earlier. Sort of chain mail affair reminding us of what kind of people the USA has produced. And what kind are currently in power. Never got a to it so here it is in blog form. I'll keep tossing up pictures until it I feel better. Let's start with John Coltrane. Check out the John Coltrane foundation's web site. http://www.johncoltrane.com. Nicely done.

this is one of my favorite americans....Ira Glass http://www.thislife.org/
he gives me hope on a weekly basis that we can get to the bottom of what is human and humane. I am certain that you can listen in Spain...

thanks.. I guess I feel overwhelmed most of the time by the "HUGE"ness of issues, (george, hurricances, etc.) that for me to focus in on the small, delicate, tiny things of life (ie a great bread, wine, story teller, musician) those things that make your spine tingle or your soul zing...for me that is how I try to live each day. Difficult....yes. Worthy...even more yes.
